• Removing residual chlorine and odors: The porous structure of activated carbon can efficiently adsorb residual chlorine and odors generated in tap water, improving taste and odor.
• Adsorption of organic matter and some heavy metals: It can remove dissolved organic matter, chromaticity, as well as some heavy metal ions such as lead, mercury, arsenic, etc. in water, and also reduce COD.
• Physical interception of particles: Filters such as sintered carbon rods, in addition to adsorption, can also intercept tiny particles such as rust and sediment through deep structures, with a filtration accuracy typically ranging from 5-10 microns.
• Protecting backend equipment: In pure water machines or water purification systems, the pre installed carbon core can prevent residual chlorine and organic matter from oxidizing and contaminating the backend RO membrane or ion exchange resin, extending their service life. ‌‌

⚠️ Notes for Use
Activated carbon needs to be replaced in a timely manner after saturation, with a general service life of 1-3 years, depending on water quality and usage; If left in a humid environment for a long time, it is easy for microorganisms to grow inside and needs to be disinfected or replaced regularly
