Before cleaning the filter, be sure to unplug the machine. Place an absorbent towel or a basin beneath the filter to catch any residual water that might spill out when opened; following the proper procedure makes the task easy.

Tools to Prepare
Old soft-bristled toothbrush, tweezers
Warm water (approx. 35°C), a small amount of neutral dish soap
Coin or flat-head screwdriver (to pry open the access panel)

Step-by-Step Cleaning Instructions
‌Open the access panel‌: Locate the small square or round cover on the bottom right of the front panel. Insert a coin or thin screwdriver into the gap and gently pry it open to reveal the filter assembly inside.
‌Drain residual water‌: Pull out the black emergency drain hose located behind the cover, remove the plug, and drain all accumulated water into your basin. Once drained, reinsert the plug and push the hose back into its original position.
‌Remove the filter‌: Slowly turn the filter's black knob counter-clockwise. Once fully unscrewed, pull the filter assembly straight out; be careful not to use excessive force to avoid splashing any remaining dirty water.
‌Deep clean the filter‌: Remove debris such as hair, lint, coins, or buttons tangled in the filter. Gently brush the mesh with a soft toothbrush. For stubborn grime, soak the filter in warm water mixed with neutral dish soap for 5 minutes before rinsing clean. Also, reach into the pump chamber to clear out any small debris and spin the impeller to ensure nothing is jammed.
‌Reinstall and test‌: Allow the filter to air dry, then align it with the slot and push it all the way in. Turn the knob clockwise until you feel distinct resistance. Ensure the sealing ring is flat and properly seated. Close the access panel, then run a "Quick Wash" or "Spin Only" cycle; if the water drains smoothly and there are no leaks within the first minute, the process is complete.
